-395 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-395 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 25.94 in (658.88 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 26.36 in (669.54 mm), catalogued under part number A80395. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Aflas (TFE/P) is specified here for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match. The compound resists brake fluids and phosphate esters, amines and corrosion inhibitors, and high-temperature steam. Rated temperature range runs from -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where aromatic hydrocarbons or low-temperature dynamic service are present.

Typical settings include oil and gas production, geothermal equipment, and power generation.
