The N70400 is an AS568-400 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.35 in (34.29 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.9 in (48.26 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The material holds up against moderate petroleum oil exposure, sunlight and salt spray, and mild acids.
