E80PC400 is an AS568-400 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.35 in (34.29 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.9 in (48.26 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against ketones, water and steam, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) offers good electrical insulating characteristics and very good flexibility at low temperature. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Applications involving aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels call for a different compound.

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across potable water applications, HVAC and refrigeration, and brake and phosphate ester systems.
