This o-ring is supplied in AS568-400 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 1.35 in (34.29 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.9 in (48.26 mm), catalogued under part number U70400. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

It resists abrasion and wear, impact and shock loading, and petroleum oils. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Polyurethane (AU/EU) is widely chosen for outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure and toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 200°F (93.3°C). Exposure to acids and bases or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature will shorten service life.
