-401 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

A80401 is an AS568-401 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.475 in (37.47 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.025 in (51.44 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Expect good resistance to brake fluids and phosphate esters, strong bases, and sour gas and hydrogen sulfide. Aflas (TFE/P) is widely chosen for excellent electrical insulating properties and exceptional resistance to amine-based additives. Service temperature is rated from -25°F (-31.7°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where low-temperature dynamic service or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.
