-401 BROWN FKM 90D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-401 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 1.475 in (37.47 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.025 in (51.44 mm), catalogued under part number VB90401. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) offers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. This material stands up to aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.
