-401 BLACK CHLOROPRENE 70D O-RING

The N70401 is an AS568-401 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.475 in (37.47 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.025 in (51.44 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to ozone and weathering, sunlight and salt spray, and moderate petroleum oil exposure. Neoprene (Chloroprene) is specified for good resilience across a moderate temperature band and strong performance in refrigeration circuits. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C).

It sees regular use in general industrial, marine equipment, and transit and rail.
