-401 BLACK FKM 90D O-RING

Ordered as V90401, this is an AS568-401 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.475 in (37.47 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.025 in (51.44 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, oil and gas, and aerospace.
