V75402 is an AS568-402 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.6 in (40.64 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.15 in (54.61 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines call for a different compound.
