Part number TFE402 is an AS568-402 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.6 in (40.64 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.15 in (54.61 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

PTFE (Teflon) is specified here for very wide continuous service temperature range and non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics. Expect good resistance to strong acids and bases, solvents, and oxidizing media. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C).
