568-403 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

HSN90403 is an AS568-403 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.725 in (43.82 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.275 in (57.79 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for excellent abrasion and tear strength, oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. The compound resists heat and oxidation, ozone and weathering, and modern refrigerants. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or ketones.

Common environments for this compound include heavy-duty powertrain, engine timing systems, and commercial refrigeration.
