-404 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

A80404 is an AS568-404 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.85 in (46.99 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.4 in (60.96 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Aflas (TFE/P) is specified here for high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match and exceptional resistance to amine-based additives. The material holds up against brake fluids and phosphate esters, sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, and hot water. The material carries a published service range of -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).
