-404 BLACK FKM 90D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-404 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 1.85 in (46.99 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.4 in (60.96 mm), catalogued under part number V90404. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or amines call for a different compound.
