568-404 URETHANE 90 ORINGS -PREM GRADE

U90404 is an AS568-404 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.85 in (46.99 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.4 in (60.96 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The material holds up against petroleum oils, impact and shock loading, and extrusion under high pressure. Polyurethane (AU/EU) is known for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds and outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C) in continuous service. Applications involving hot water and steam or acids and bases call for a different compound.
