-405 BLACK CHEMOURS VITON 75D O-RING

The VITON75405 is an AS568-405 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.975 in (50.17 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.525 in (64.14 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for outstanding high-temperature capability, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The compound resists aggressive chemicals, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.

Typical settings include chemical processing, high-temperature process equipment, and automotive fuel systems.
