APG stocks the H50405, an AS568-405 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.975 in (50.17 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.525 in (64.14 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for strong abrasion and tear resistance, low compression set under sustained load. The compound resists petroleum-based oils, propane and butane, and hydraulic fluids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to ozone and direct sunlight or ketones will shorten service life.
