568-405 URETHANE 90 ORINGS -PREM GRADE

The U90405 is an AS568-405 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.975 in (50.17 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.525 in (64.14 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) is known for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds, very high tensile strength and load capacity. This material stands up to impact and shock loading, ozone, and petroleum oils. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C) in continuous service. Applications involving ketones or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature call for a different compound.
