-406 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

The A80406 is an AS568-406 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.1 in (53.34 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.65 in (67.31 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, hot water, and strong bases. Aflas (TFE/P) is widely chosen for high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match and proven performance in aggressive downhole environments. Published continuous service range is -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving aromatic hydrocarbons or some chlorinated solvents call for a different compound.
