This o-ring is supplied in AS568-406 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 2.1 in (53.34 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.65 in (67.31 mm), catalogued under part number V75406. It delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam will shorten service life.

Typical settings include semiconductor equipment, oil and gas, and automotive fuel systems.
