-406 BROWN FKM 90D O-RING

The VB90406 is an AS568-406 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.1 in (53.34 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.65 in (67.31 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against aggressive chemicals, aromatic hydrocarbons, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) delivers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines.
