VB75406 is an AS568-406 brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.1 in (53.34 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.65 in (67.31 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters are present.

Typical settings include chemical processing, aerospace, and high-temperature process equipment.
