V90406 is an AS568-406 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.1 in (53.34 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.65 in (67.31 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) delivers outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.
