568-406 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

HSN90406 is an AS568-406 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.1 in (53.34 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.65 in (67.31 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, modern refrigerants, and heat and oxidation. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where strong oxidizing acids or esters are present.
