APG stocks the A80407, an AS568-407 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.225 in (56.52 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.775 in (70.49 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Aflas (TFE/P) offers excellent electrical insulating properties and high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match. The material holds up against sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, high-temperature steam, and brake fluids and phosphate esters. Published continuous service range is -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where low-temperature dynamic service or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.

Common environments for this compound include oil and gas production, geothermal equipment, and downhole tooling.
