-407 BROWN FKM 90D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-407 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 2.225 in (56.52 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.775 in (70.49 mm), catalogued under part number VB90407. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) is known for very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam are present.
