-407 BLACK FKM 90D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-407 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 2.225 in (56.52 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.775 in (70.49 mm), catalogued under part number V90407. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is known for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

It sees regular use in semiconductor equipment, chemical processing, and automotive fuel systems.
