The TFE407 is an AS568-407 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.225 in (56.52 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.775 in (70.49 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Expect good resistance to solvents, steam, and strong acids and bases. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE (Teflon) is known for one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid and a very wide continuous service temperature range. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). It is not the right choice where elemental fluorine at temperature or service requiring elastic recovery are present.
