APG stocks the A80408, an AS568-408 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.35 in (59.69 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.9 in (73.66 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, hot water, and amines and corrosion inhibitors. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Aflas (TFE/P) delivers excellent electrical insulating properties and high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match. Service temperature is rated from -25°F (-31.7°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving aromatic hydrocarbons or low-temperature dynamic service call for a different compound.

Typical settings include oil and gas production, power generation, and chemical processing.
