Ordered as H50408, this is an AS568-408 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.35 in (59.69 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.9 in (73.66 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for strong abrasion and tear resistance, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. Expect good resistance to greases and lubricants, water, and petroleum-based oils. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving ketones or strong acids call for a different compound.
