568-408 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

HS70408 is an AS568-408 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.35 in (59.69 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.9 in (73.66 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The compound resists heat and oxidation, modern refrigerants, and ozone and weathering. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or ketones.
