-409 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

The A80409 is an AS568-409 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.475 in (62.87 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.025 in (76.84 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

It resists sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, high-temperature steam, and strong bases. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Aflas (TFE/P) is known for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and proven performance in aggressive downhole environments. Service temperature is rated from -25°F (-31.7°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to aromatic hydrocarbons or low-temperature dynamic service will shorten service life.
