Part number VB75409 is an AS568-409 brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.475 in (62.87 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.025 in (76.84 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. It resists engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or hot water and steam.
