-409 BLACK FKM 90D O-RING

V90409 is an AS568-409 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.475 in (62.87 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.025 in (76.84 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

The compound resists many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and chlorinated solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in semiconductor equipment, automotive fuel systems, and aerospace.
