568-409 URETHANE 90 ORINGS -PREM GRADE

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-409 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 2.475 in (62.87 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.025 in (76.84 mm), catalogued under part number U90409. It delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Expect good resistance to impact and shock loading, extrusion under high pressure, and petroleum oils. Polyurethane (AU/EU) is widely chosen for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds, very high tensile strength and load capacity. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving ketones or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature call for a different compound.
