-410 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

A80410 is an AS568-410 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.6 in (66.04 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.15 in (80.01 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Aflas (TFE/P) is known for excellent electrical insulating properties and high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match. Expect good resistance to amines and corrosion inhibitors, high-temperature steam, and strong bases. Published continuous service range is -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to some chlorinated solvents or aromatic hydrocarbons will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in chemical processing, geothermal equipment, and oil and gas production.
