568-410 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

APG stocks the HS70410, an AS568-410 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.6 in (66.04 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.15 in (80.01 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The material holds up against sour gas and amine inhibitors, heat and oxidation, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, excellent abrasion and tear strength. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C).

Typical settings include engine timing systems, oilfield and downhole equipment, and automotive air conditioning.
