The TFE411 is an AS568-411 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.725 in (69.22 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.275 in (83.19 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, PTFE (Teflon) is widely chosen for a very wide continuous service temperature range and near-universal chemical inertness. Expect good resistance to strong acids and bases, oxidizing media, and steam. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). Exposure to molten alkali metals or service requiring elastic recovery will shorten service life.

Typical settings include food and beverage, aggressive-media pipelines, and semiconductor fabrication.
