This o-ring is supplied in AS568-412 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 2.85 in (72.39 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.4 in (86.36 mm), catalogued under part number V90412. As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material holds up against engine and transmission fluids, aggressive chemicals, and many acids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
