568-412 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

HS70412 is an AS568-412 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.85 in (72.39 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.4 in (86.36 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) delivers long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, excellent abrasion and tear strength. It resists petroleum oils and fuels, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and modern refrigerants. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to strong oxidizing acids or esters will shorten service life.

Typical settings include heavy-duty powertrain, oilfield and downhole equipment, and automotive air conditioning.
