APG stocks the HSN90412, an AS568-412 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.85 in (72.39 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.4 in (86.36 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is valued for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. The compound resists sour gas and amine inhibitors, modern refrigerants, and ozone and weathering. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where ketones or strong oxidizing acids are present.

It sees regular use in heavy-duty powertrain, oilfield and downhole equipment, and engine timing systems.

HSN90412 ships individually. Nominal inside diameter is listed as 2 7/8 inch. Application requirements vary, so validate compatibility with your process conditions prior to installation.
