An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for excellent abrasion and tear strength, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, ozone and weathering, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where esters or strong oxidizing acids are present.

It sees regular use in automotive air conditioning, oilfield and downhole equipment, and heavy-duty powertrain.
