Part number TFE414 is an AS568-414 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.1 in (78.74 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.65 in (92.71 mm). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, PTFE (Teflon) is widely chosen for near-universal chemical inertness and one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid. This material stands up to oxidizing media, nearly all industrial chemicals, and strong acids and bases. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C).
