This o-ring is supplied in AS568-415 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 3.225 in (81.92 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.775 in (95.89 mm), catalogued under part number A80415. It compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Aflas (TFE/P) is specified here for proven performance in aggressive downhole environments and strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. The compound resists sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, amines and corrosion inhibitors, and strong bases. Published continuous service range is -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C).
