568-416 URETHANE 90 ORINGS -PREM GRADE

APG stocks the U90416, an AS568-416 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 3.35 in (85.09 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.9 in (99.06 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) offers very high tensile strength and load capacity, long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service. The compound resists impact and shock loading, extrusion under high pressure, and abrasion and wear. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Exposure to ketones or hot water and steam will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in off-highway equipment, high-pressure fluid power, and mining and heavy equipment.
