-417 BLACK BUNA 50D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-417 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 3.475 in (88.27 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.025 in (102.24 mm), catalogued under part number H50417. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to greases and lubricants, water, and hydraulic fluids. Buna-N (Nitrile) offers low compression set under sustained load and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where strong acids or polar solvents are present.
