-420 BLACK CHEMOURS VITON 75D O-RING

Ordered as VITON75420, this is an AS568-420 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 3.85 in (97.79 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.4 in (111.76 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) is known for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or amines call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in oil and gas, aerospace, and semiconductor equipment.
