Part number VB90420 is an AS568-420 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.85 in (97.79 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.4 in (111.76 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Viton® (FKM) delivers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in automotive fuel systems, chemical processing, and semiconductor equipment.
