This o-ring is supplied in AS568-420 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 3.85 in (97.79 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.4 in (111.76 mm), catalogued under part number U90420. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is valued for exceptional abrasion resistance and long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service. The compound resists impact and shock loading, extrusion under high pressure, and ozone. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C).
