The HS70421 is an AS568-421 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3.975 in (100.97 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.525 in (114.94 mm). This o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and heat and oxidation. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones or strong oxidizing acids.

Common environments for this compound include oilfield and downhole equipment, commercial refrigeration, and heavy-duty powertrain.
