H50422 is an AS568-422 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.1 in (104.14 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.65 in (118.11 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for low compression set under sustained load and an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. The material holds up against petroleum-based oils, hydraulic fluids, and propane and butane. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
